Strippers for Lower Extremity Superficial Venous Valve SurgeryStrippers for Lower Extremity Superficial Venous Valve Surgery

Product advantage
1. Traditional therapy.
2. Small trauma, hidden wound, short healing time.
3. It has the advantages of complete treatment and less recurrence.
4. The surgery uses a vein stripping catheter to strip the necrotic blood vessels to achieve the treatment purpose.

Performance description
The outer surface of the stripped catheter is coated with hydrophilic coating, which can effectively reduce the resistance during the operation. This product should be sterile and disposable after being sterilized with ethylene oxide.

Scope of application
It is applicable to the stripping of great saphenous vein when there is no complication of primary varicose vein or chronic venous insufficiency.

Structure and composition of the product
This product mainly consists of stripping conduit, stripping head and handle, where the stripping conduit consists of a chuck, end, steel cable and heat shrinkable tube, the heat shrinkable tube is wrapped around the steel cable, and the outer surface is covered with hydrophilic coating. The steel cable and the end, the steel cable and the chuck are fixedly connected, and the stripping head and the handle are movably connected to the stripping conduit. The material of steel cable, chuck and end is 304 stainless steel (grade: 06Cr19Ni 10); the material of heat shrinkable tube is ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA); the material of hydrophilic coating is polyurethane; the material of stripping head and handle is nylon. This product should be sterile by ethylene oxide sterilization, single-use.

Product feature
1. Enhance the vascular lesion site through the ability.
Special stainless steel wire spiral into a bundle design, to ensure a reasonable flexibility and hardness of the best balance.
Surface polymer protection sleeve + hydrophilic coating design, reduce the resistance to movement in the blood vessels.
2. Variety of models, flexible in use.
Catheter lengths of 2.6m, 1.1m, flexible implementation of segmental or whole section stripping, taking into account inversion + ectasia.
The 2.6m catheter length allows for two inversion strips without increasing the surgical incision, shortening the operative time.
9mm and 12mm diameter stripping tips to accommodate different thicknesses of vessels.
3. Anti-dislodgement design of the stripping tip reduces surgical risk.
Special end structure design (anti-dislodgement design), pre-tightened connection between the stripping tip and the catheter to ensure that it will not fall off during surgery.

Why use stripping catheters to treat varicose veins?
1. Laser closure and high ligation + stripping have higher surgical success rate than foam sclerotherapy.
2. High ligation + stripping has a lower recurrence rate in SFJ reflux than laser closure and foam sclerotherapy.
3. Laser closure and high ligation + stripping showed similar improvement in VCSS score.
Although more and more techniques have been used in recent years for the treatment of saphenous veins, saphenous vein stripping remains the most commonly used treatment and the last line of defense for varicose veins because the technique is the easiest to master, economical and practical, and has a low recurrence rate.

Steps to use the VS-260
1. Insert the stripping catheter from the end of the vein at the ankle into the vessel to be discarded and wait for the end to extend to the groin; ligate the saphenous vein at the ankle in the middle slot of the two snaps of the stripping catheter.
2. Assembling the handle on the proximal end of the stripping catheter that has passed through the vessel, then pulling the handle in a proximal direction to pull the stripping catheter, with the saphenous vein being pulled out inwardly at the groin.
3. If there is a broken vein during stripping, first remove the broken portion, pull the middle groove of the stripping catheter to the groin, ligate the saphenous vein to the middle groove, assemble the handle on the distal end of the stripping catheter, pull the stripping catheter in the distal direction, and the saphenous vein is pulled out inwardly at the ankle.
4. If the vein remains broken during stripping, the broken portion is first removed and the tip of the stripping catheter is pulled out of the vessel, a suitable stripping tip is assembled at the tip site, and the handle is continued to be pulled to perform external stripping of the residual segment of the vein.
The incision is sutured and the entire lower extremity is wrapped with an elastic bandage or elastic stocking with uniform force to prevent bleeding from the stripping site.
