Steel Adhesive Wheel Weights
Steel, Lead-Free to comply with European Standard
Zn Plated, Nonpoisonous Coating (After that Polymer Coated if Ordered)
Salt-Spray Tested to Resist Corrosion for more than 48 Hours.
Weights are pre-cut and pre-taped. No cutting, no pre-contouring, and no waste.
Used in balancing all types of alloy wheels. Suitable for cars, trucks, van, motorcycles.
Specification
1. Pre-treat the rim
Apply a suitable cleaning agent on the area where weight is to be applied. Wipe the area clean and dry.
Please note: be sure to test the cleaning agent on a small area to ensure it will not damage the wheel's finish.
2. Select adhesive weight size
Adjust the adhesive weight to the rim radius. The radius of the weight body must run at least parallel to the rim
radius. It is even better if the radius of the weight is smaller than the rim radius. Cut the correct amount of
adhesive weight needed.
3. Apply the weight
Remove the tape backing and press the center of the weight exactly at the imbalance point.
Please note: Do not touch the tape surface after peeling off the tape backing.
4. Secure the weight
Once the center of the weight is located at the imbalance point, press down the weight to the rim from the
middle towards the outer edges. Firm hand pressure should be enough to secure the weight.
